The College would like to announce the results of the recent Council elections. The College’s Nominations Committee reported to Council that the number of qualified applicants met the number of vacant positions. Given this, voting by the membership was not required, as per the bylaws.

We are pleased to announce that as of July 1, 2020, we will welcome a new Council member, Ayman Darwish, MRT(R)(MR). Ayman has 13 years of work experience, most of it working internationally. He has been an instructor/clinical liaison with NAIT since September 2016, teaching both MRI and MRT programs. Ayman is excited to broaden his experience in governance and regulation and give back to the profession by volunteering with the College.

There are also three members returning for a second term: Gail Astle, MRT(R), Jessica Cherwick, ENP, and Laurie Walline, MRT(NM).
