Overseeing the assessment of internationally educated applicants in collaboration with the Registrar. Preparing and submitting regulatory reports.

  • Policy and Regulatory Development – Leading the development, evaluation, and revision of regulatory and internal policies. Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and inform policy recommendations.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Engagement – Representing the College in external presentations, interprofessional initiatives, and working groups. Liaising with national and provincial stakeholders on matters related to regulation, mobility, and standards.
  • Information Governance and Privacy – Ensuring that the handling of personal information is compliant with the Personal Information Protection Act and working with the Privacy Office to address privacy concerns and support data security initiatives.

The Right Person

  • You are known for finding solutions in unlikely places.
  • As a big-picture thinker, you challenge assumptions and bring perspective; where others see roadblocks, you see pathways.
  • Your experience has taught you to jump into gaps and that execution means being disciplined, organized, practical, versatile, and calm in the face of rapid change.
  • Being a strong communicator, you can push back constructively and navigate ambiguity.
  • As a leader, you are both comfortable taking the lead and supporting quietly behind the scenes.
  • You bring progressive leadership experience in a regulatory, health, or public-sector environment, with experience managing policy development and legislative compliance initiatives.
