The Alberta College of Medical Diagnostics and Therapeutic Technologists (the College) will begin using text messaging to reach registrants with very important or urgent messages. The messages coming from (587) 847-4585 will begin with “ACMDTT:” to ensure registrants know they are legitimate and not spam. The technology is two-way, so registrants can reply and have conversations with the College. To end all future communication on the platform, recipients can reply with STOP. Council recently approved minor revisions to the Bylaws of the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (the College). Read Bylaws The updated document has the following changes: Added the College of Health Professionals of Prince Edward Island to Section 9: Equivalent Jurisdictions. Updated two Health Professions Act (HPA) references. Removed reference to a Council policy when appointing a Chair and Vice Chair of Council. MRTs and ENPs are now able to submit their Registration Renewal for 2024. General and temporary registration will expire on December 31, 2023. The annual renewal process is one of the most important legal obligations for all medical radiation technologists (MRTs) and electroneurophysiology technologists (ENPs) practicing in Alberta. Registrants are urged to complete their renewal by November 30, 2023, to avoid an additional $150 administration charge.
