Applications Open for Council and Committee Positions
The College is seeking dedicated professionals to join Council and the Registration and Competence Committee. These roles are essential to fulfilling the College’s mandate of protecting the public and ensuring the profession meets the highest standards of safety, competence, and ethics.
Council Opportunities
Two positions on Council will be available starting July 1, 2026, each for a three-year term. Registrants from any specialty are welcome to apply. Council members help oversee the College’s regulatory work, ensuring decisions are made in the public interest.

Registration and Competence Committee
We are also seeking registrants for the Registration and Competence Committee, which combines the responsibilities of the former Registration and Competence Committees. This committee plays a key role in:
- Reviewing registration and reinstatement applications referred by the Registrar
- Monitoring compliance with the Continuing Competence Program (CCP)
- Participating in the annual CCP audit
- Contributing to improvements in registration and competence assessment processes
Committee terms are three years, renewable once, and begin July 1, 2026.
