Call for Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Opportunity Overview 

The College is seeking 2–3 Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) per specialty to support the College in responding to registrant inquiries, reviewing standards, and providing expert insight into evolving professional practice. 

This is a contract-based engagement, and selected SMEs will be part of a roster that the College can consult on an as-needed basis. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Provide expert advice on clinical, technical, and professional practice questions, including specialty-specific input that may be needed during investigations and/or practice assessments.  

• Review and provide feedback on standards, policies, and guidance documents. 

• Participate in working groups or committees as needed. 

• Support the College in interpreting regulatory requirements in the context of specialty-specific practice. 

Qualifications 

• Current registration with the College in one or more of the five specialties. 

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the relevant specialty. 

• Demonstrated expertise in clinical practice, education, research, or leadership. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Contract Details 

• Compensation: Hourly or per engagement (to be determined). 

• Duration: 1-year renewable contract. 

• Time Commitment: Flexible, based on College needs and SME availability.
