Registration is mandatory. To practice as a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) in Alberta and use all protected titles, you must be registered with the College and hold an active practice permit.

Who can Apply as a Non-Labour Mobility applicant?

This route applies to you if:

  • You are practicing as an MRT in an unregulated province (see table below).

If the province and corresponding specialty are not listed, it means that it regulates all MRT specialties. You must apply under the labor mobility route.
