Benefits of Student Membership

A student membership can significantly contribute to your professional growth, ensuring you remain compliant and competitive in your field.

Here’s why you should consider it:

  • No Cost to You: Student membership is free.
  • Stay Updated about Practice Changes: Membership ensures you’re always informed about the latest regulations and practice changes within your profession, so you’re up to date when you graduate.
  • Professional Development: We provide a range of learning resources, including live webinars, seminars, videos, and courses focused on professional standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. You will also receive access to the Regulation Education Module (REM). Completion of the REM is a mandatory part of your general registration application.
  • Engagement in Consultation: When the College’s governing documents are being updated, you may participate in the review and provide feedback.
  • Simplify your General Registration Application: When you are already a student member, it’s much easier to complete your application for general registration and a practice permit, as much of the information is the same.
