Registration Required to Work in Alberta

According to the Health Professions Act (HPA), everyone who practices electroneurophysiology technology in Alberta must hold valid and current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (the College). The practice involves not only the clinical and technical aspects of the profession; it also includes, but is not limited to, functions of education, management, research and administration.

Application Routes

New Canadian Graduate ENP Applicants

For recent graduates who have never been registered.

Temporary ENP Applicants

For graduates within the last two (2) years, who have not yet practiced in your specialty.

ENP Reinstatement Applicants

For previous College registrants returning to practice.

Non-Labour Mobility ENP Applicants

For Canadian graduates practicing in an unregulated Canadian province/territory

Internationally Educated ENP Applicants

For those not registered to practice in another Canadian province or territory
