New CCP cycle begins today

The 2020-21 Continuing Competence Program (CCP) cycle begins today. The recently announced changes to the My CCP online platform also go live today.

We encourage regulated members to complete their self-assessment and learning plan within the first few months of a new CCP cycle in order to more effectively plan their learning activities for the year. Please note that the number of required hours of learning has returned to normal for the 2020-21 cycle, so members who hold a practice permit for the entire CCP cycle are required to complete 24 hours of learning over the next year.

The College will also begin our annual CCP Analytics Verification this week, which allows us to see if/when a member has logged in to My CCP, if/when they have logged out and if they have entered data into each of the three components of the CCP. Through this process, the College is not able to see any detail of the member’s CCP, so it remains confidential. Regulated members who have not completed their CCP for the 2019-20 cycle will be contacted by the College before registration renewal begins next month.

Please feel welcome to contact our Director of Education and Competence, Linda O’Hara, at lohara@acmdtt.com or 780.487.6130 if you have any questions about the CCP.
